This week has been heavy. Lots of tension. Lots of Risk. It has been a week where stress was high simply because of what was at stake (Lights On! book launch).
My body and my mind are both signaling me that I “must breathe”. So I just took a nice long walk, in the crisp Niagara area. Wonderful! Breathe in….Breathe out…Breathe deeply.
Why? The answers are many: Improve Health, Reduce Stress, Improve Mental Health and Energy, Increase your Well-being. And mostly, to help increase your maximum body/oxygen content.
If you’re a shallow breather, like I am, this deliberate, intentional deep breathing feels so good. And if you’re a person who has heart concerns, this deep breathing is therapeutic.
The age-old Sophie Tucker maxim: To live long…Keep Breathing!
