One Word, One Phrase, Lights On Mantra for 2013

Written by Claire Knowles on . Posted in Courage to Become, Empowerment, Lights On!

There’s a powerful new book called “One Word”. The premise of it is that there’s a word that’s meant just for you. When you discover your word for the year, own it, live it and experience it, it can have a profound impact for your life. The book’s tri-authors note that by embracing, owning and living a single word for 365 days, your life changes; that one word provides a whole new perspective on how you approach your year.

For me, I thought about several different words that can guide my 2013 and ended up with a three word phrase that fits for me….for meeting my personal challenges….for spurring me forward. My phrase helps me to enlarge my vision and raise my level of expectancy.

All of us can benefit from a mantra, a word or phrase that conveys a profoundly simple idea—one that we relate to personally and deeply…the one word or phrase that describes “who or how we want to become” as 2013 unfolds. As you consider your New Year’s resolutions, perhaps there is a deeper thread woven through them that could be the perfect clue for your “word” or “phrase.”

What’s that word or phrase for you?  Why not take a few minutes and discover it for yourself?  May you find it and move forward with your Lights On!
