So…the New Year is here. Time for new resolutions. Time for looking back and looking ahead. Time to erase/let go what you need to do from the past, and time for deciding how you’re going to become the best you can be in 2013.
As a high-functioning, aware adult, you know this: Your happiness, joy and self-love comes from inside of you. You know that you will never find that happiness, joy and self-love or have it sustained from others. You are dependent on yourself. You’ve also learned that if you want to be extraordinary, you have to step up and do for yourself. Change comes by way of actions you take. You know too, that if you want to have different, then you have to do different. And that means that YOU have to face your own moment of truth.
So what is your moment of truth all about for 2013?
• It’s the moment where you have to decide once and for all what you’re really made of. (Decision)
• It’s when you stop talking about what you want to do and actually start doing it. (Action).
• It’s when you become honest, wholly honest, about who you want to be and the reason why you want to be it. (Authenticity)
• It is your moment of choice. What will you choose for 2013? What do you want to have, to do and to be? And in that, what actions will you actually take to move forward? (Commitment)
The choice, of course, is yours.
Affirmation: Today I boldly make my commitment to learning and growing; to shedding old habits that stifle me. I affirm my own metamorphosis—releasing the past and moving into my greatness—and I know that is a stronger pull than my
old habit of staying the same! I’m beckoned onward…like the giant oak tree that is beckoned forth from the acorn seed. I’m taking specific actions to move forward to become the very best I can be in 2013. I promise!
